Is the economy really that much better today than say January 2005 or May 2006 at the most recent prior market tops? In my world it seems like the weakest economy now since the early 1990's even though most folks still can find a job.. I find that scary.. Of course if you are tied to Wall Street directly, import/export or the oil industry right now you got a different take. Not horrible when you put everything together I guess.. Our government has proven it can monetize and create monetary and credit expansion when it needs to bail the economy out of a jam. Just don't know how much longer they can do that and keep interest rates so low without serious ramifications..
