"Its rather amazing they are that public with their comments." Look at some of the comments that are made on this board. But, you know what? Their kids just want to be Americans. Aztlán is just like the blacks who mythologize Africa. It works for a while, but their kids find a different route. Because it is all mythology. Here is the the wikipedia entry for Aztlán. en.wikipedia.org While mythology is very important for any movement, at some point it either has to produce or die. The Aztlán movement cannot produce much. All it means is dragging the areas mentioned down to Mexico's standards. And that means losing their kids. That gives them a narrow window. Which they are in the process of missing. It might not be true for SCal. I can't comment on that. But they lost it in this state some time ago.
