I have no problem with the government enforcing laws. The laws should generally reflect libertarian values though.

I don't have time to write an essay on it, but generally as long as you aren't harming anyone else, you can do what you want. When you are harming someone else, you can't. That pretty much covers it, but there are plenty of details out there on libertarian web pages.

The problem with the Church and priests can't be discussed honestly and openly by the Church because the political correctness mafia and media would do even more damage to it than than a few isolated cases of sexual abuse.

The church made a huge error in trying to cover these things up instead of prosecuting the guilty priests, but it would be virtually impossible to solve the problem without communicating what it actually is, how they could fix to the extent it is fixable by anyone, and then implementing the new rules etc...
