It's the 'money primary' all this summer.

Those who crap-out on the fund raising trail will begin dropping out of the running by this fall (about the time the public really begins paying attention), and the fields will narrow.

Some will not be around for the first primaries and caucuses in Jan/Feb.

And, by Feb / end of March more then half the delegates will be pledged... and it will all be over but the shouting by end of April.

Either each party will have a nominee --- or else they will be fighting through multiple ballots on the convention floors.
