Wrong, Wexler! Bye-bye.......

You stated:

"For example, (TPII) claim(s) that the SEC has 'ordered' companies to begin language translation and that the SEC has come up with a $600 billion estimate for the Y2K problem."

You then provide a link here, to back up your claim:

techstocks.com

However, as your link correctly states (and according to the TPII release):

"[The Securities Exchange Commission has stated that public companies must start now to transform their language, and has estimated that the cost to American corporations will be $600 billion.]"

(full text of TPII press release located here:

tpii.com

I don't read anything here that says the SEC has "ordered" companies to begin language translation, do you Bill? (Is this what you mean by "an outright lie?")

"If you can offer proof to the contrary then tell you what...I'll go away."

Hung by your own quotes and statements. Bye-bye, Bill. You lose. No more posting here for you! (Or did you lie when you said you'd "go away?")

JS

ps - Too bad you're gone, though, as I would have liked to have had you prove to me that the SEC has never, as you claim, "come up with a $600 billion estimate for the Y2K problem." You said "the SEC has never issued any such statement," and I would have loved to see you (very simply) prove it!
