Jeff-

Ikos does appear to have some earnings problems. They could
have been betting too hard on their emulation business. The
problem with trying to enter this business is that the boxes
are so expensive, and quite difficult to use, setup, etc...
qktn is the safe bet. They have the most knowledge, etc...
That was one of the reasons SNPS had a problem penatrating
this market, they did not have the field force to support
an emulation product.

While I feel that qktn owns this market, I do not know how
the earnings are going to be. In theory they should be
good due to no real competition. Most chip and eda companies
have been doing well recently which would also tend to mean
there is plenty of cash going around to purchase this type
of pricey equipment. Therefore, i'm not selling yet, but
you have to make your own call on this.
