BEFORE THE BELL: -2- 9:03 AM EDT June 20, 2007 Luna Innovation Up After Reporting Nano Study Shares of Luna Innovation Inc. (LUNA) rose 12% to $5.30 after the company reported its researchers showed in a study that nanospheres were able to block an allergic response to human cell cultures experiments and mice. The company said it was seeking pharmaceutical partnerships to develop and validate the nano-sized compounds. Luna collaborated with Virginia Commonwealth University in the study.
