Pices, thank you for letting me know about this site, but this would not be good to add to my home page because you have to download the software, and run it off of your hard disk. This is not to say that the info is not good or useful, but I'm mostly looking for pages that rely on the Internet and its standards. There would be no benefit to adding this site to my home page, but thanks for letting me know about it. Please do continue to let me know about new sites. BTW, what do you think of my new TechToon on my profile. I'm just starting to dabble in this, so don't judge me too harshly, but be honest though.
BTW, I'm basically using the version 4 browsers now, so I'm not sure how my page will work with Netscape 3.x anymore, since I did make a few changes, so let me know if you have any problems. There were a few bugs with Netscape 3.x anyway, so it would be good to upgrade to the much better browsers. For instance, sometimes the checkboxes would disappear upon scrolling. You can still check them, and when you do, the box appears, but some people don't understand this behavior.
Although IE 4 is pretty good, I still find that I'm using Netscape more. I certainly don't like the push (actually pull) technology, so I'm not using that at all in either browser. I didn't think I would like it, because I never liked the offline browsers that were available before. They just seemed to take forever to download even simple sites. I have a reading calendar in the form of an HTML page that I think works much better and it's much simpler. |
