I think Republicans have been using "theocratic fears" in THEIR campaigns, but I don't remember many Democratic campaigns trying to use religion to get elected.

Uh, I'm going to try and be patient . I'm typing very slowly so you'll understand..... The post where I was talking about "theocratic fears" was about the moral majority that was so active during the Reagan era. Irregardless, do I really have to explain to you that "theocratic fears" instilled by the then gaining power of the moral majority was used freely by the Democratic party. In other words, the fear of religious influence in Gov't is used freely by democrats, so in essence, Democrats DO use religion, (or more precisely anti-religion...secular progressivism), to get elected.
