That idea could have possibilities. The harlot has to be a major religion and there are only three major religions in the world. Jewish, Christian, and Muslim. Maybe the harlot is a conglomeration of all three? When the Temple is finally rebuilt the Jewish religion will have a revival. The priests of the Law will start the Temple services again and the sacrifices. To build a third temple the Dome of the Rock has to be removed. The Dome is the most Holy Muslim religious site which was built on the spot of Solomon's Temple. The Muslims would either have to be unable to stop it's destruction because they are too weak from wars or allow it to be moved which seems unlikely. The final form of the great harlot is still a mystery. I still lean towards a reprobate Christian church seeing how even now there is so much deception in the church, the false doctrines run rampant and now we have the Apostles and Prophets movement which is very suspect to me. This movement does not conform to God's word. And there is also a movement sweeping through the church of strange worship services. It's all creepy to me. I wonder what the spirit behind these things are. The spirit in me says run and I know I have the Holy Spirit.
