Its bogus on so many levels, not just the tiny unrepresentative sample, or the fact that the activity studied had no connection to paying taxes, but also the fact that even if it was honest and set up properly (say with 10,000 randomly selected people who where actually paying taxes) you'd still have the problems of

1 - Satisfaction or positive feelings may be do to "finally got that taken care of, sure glad not to have the tax bill over my head anymore" rather then "I'm so happy to pay taxes to my government"

and

2 - Even if it was "I'm so happy to pay taxes to my government" (and who really thinks more than a tiny minority would think that way), that still doesn't mean they wouldn't be happier using the money in other ways.

and

3 - Even if giving the money to the government was the thing that created the most happiness for a majority of people, that's still not a lot of justification for forcibly grabbing as much as you can from unwilling people. If some people are so incredibly happy to pay taxes, than let them pay extra.
