Once again, belief is a religious term....I think with vast numbers of objects in the universe it is sheer folly to think that our little speck of dirt is the only thing that harbors life. And I have absolutely no idea what form other life may take. It may or may not be a water and carbon based system or it may not. We have life on this planet whose chemistry is not base d on carbon. I also don't think there are any fantasized spooks or goblins or spirits elsewhere either. At the moment that is a human invention.
