Overnight loan is easiest money to be made at Feds fund rate(currently 5.25%) at the bank you don't deposit. This type of loan is for banks who has insufficient bank reserve(ratio of deposits to loan from FRB), (or not enough deposits to support the overnight discount loans from Federal Reserve Bank). It has some risks if FDIC pull the rug on the bank.
