Supporting Israel is in the national interest of the USA. So is defeating Islam which is not a "great" religion. It is a hideous atavistic murderous superstitious totalitarian regime crushing of individuals and civilisation. There are no "great" religions. They are all just superstitious megalomanias. It's hilarious to hear people say Islam is a religion of peace, when around the world, they murder, preferably in bulk. Beslan was Islam in action. Bali was Islamic Jihad. Trains and buses in London. Anywhere you look, they are killing, unless they have fully subjugated the people in the place they run. Mqurice
