-if stem cells come from skin then the left has no support for their desire for blanc carte abortion rights. I don't follow that. If you can get stem cells from skin, then you don't need to destroy embryos to get stem cells. Abortion, however, is a completely separate issue. Women have abortions because they find themselves pregnant and don't want a child. Stem cells are the furthest thing from their minds.
