John, David, et al; I noticed a few weeks ago a comment on MPEG editing. Look at this article carefully. If MPEG editing was possible in the compressed domain why all the fuss from Snell? YOU HAVE TO DECOMPRESS FIRST TO EDIT! It doesn't matter where you compress. (inside the chip) But you must first decompress for sync to function properly. I couldn't let this article go by without my own comment! Back to Lurking, GEorge
