We agree more than we disagree most of the time. And I am a Buffett-style stockpicker with only a passing interest in "the markets" day to day. Whatever one calls the last five years, it was a life-changing wealth-building event for me unlike any I have known before. Unlike real estate bubbles, consistent stockpicking and loss management works over decades thru good markets and bad (none of which ever last anyway).

I enjoy watching the divergence between the grade-school models that many SIers use and the complexity of the real world. It is compounded by the fact that most SI postings are just emotional self-indulgence; so naturally people tend to extremes which feed their basic love of melodrama.
