Sector, Very, very hot. Does Asnd have a DMT modem?? I noticed they mentioned that their platform would support CAP RADSL. I assume it will not support DMT RADSL. Wstl/Amtx will support both CAP and DMT RADSL. Alcatel introduced a 3rd generation DMT RADSL with a very low power consumption--less than 2 watts. This means that they have overcome the CAP advantage. Those without DMT will be in trouble in 98. What is Asnd's strategy?? The ADSL market will be in the billions by 99, IMO. I also believe Asnd has too many xDSL solutions. I will confuse the customer. For a few buck more, most customers will go with ADSL. Asnd is wasting a lot of money on duplications, IMO.
