Mark, have you tried using the Internet Trader program yet? If not, it might be something you'd want to try.
It's a very slick, totally configurable, Windows based program that connects through your regular internet connection. It can run in the background while you have any number of browsers open. It has continously updating quotes, daily charts, intraday charts, tick charts, time and sales data, news, indices, a search feature (ie to search for high volume, RSI, etc, etc), and some fundamental data. It also offers video and audio alerts on any symbol and criteria you set. It's a very nice program. It's only drawback is the data feed is over the internet and gets a bit sporadic on occasion, which is a real pain in the ass for active traders like Robet and Lizard, but maybe not quite as big of a deal for someone who trades like you do. The software was written by Papyrus Technology, a division of Earnst and Young papyrus.com The data feed is from NAQ naq.com If you use the 15 min delayed feed, the program and data feed is totally free (serviced by Papyrus). The real time service is about $50 a month plus exchange fees (serviced by NAQ).
Sorry if this is old information here. I hadn't seen anyone mention this program so thought I'd bring it up to you. Steve |
