May as well paint a target on my oldest daughter's back. Every summer, since 2005 she's been in an accident, each time hit by some bozo who was at fault.

July 2005 - an unlicensed kid on her way to take her driver's license test swats at a bee in the car, crosses the centerline and does $2,000 damage to my car.

July 2006 - some Bimbo driving a Ford F350 truck and towing a trailer rear ends her at a stop sign, totalling a perfectly fine but older car.

Now! June, 2006, she is taking her little sister to see Pirates of the Caribbean, and is rear ended by some BIMBO who was driving a beater van, smoking a cigarette and plows into her at a stop light.

Kids ok, although the older one now has a headache, likely from the impact. both are a tad stressed out.

Miraculously ,the only apparent damage to the car (a new-to-us used Lexus ES 250) was scuffing of the bumper and pushing the exhaust system forward.

The other driver is uninsured!!!

She's gonna get a couple hefty tickets and will lose her license unless she posts a financial responsibility bond.

The other good part is it looks like her van is totaled. I hope this costs her big-time.

Goodie. Now I get to fight with my insurance company over uninsured motorist coverage (which I carry at maximum limits due to the dumbnutz around here who drive without insurance).
