They've been having some very odd problems lately. I recently bought an item and less than a minute after I paid I received an email from ebay that all of the seller's items had been pulled and the seller had been TKO'd by the Trust & Safety Department, suspending all his trading activities. He had about 40 listings of the same item and, sure enough, I went back and all of his items on my watch list from were gone. Also gone was the item I purchased and my proof of payment. In the email from Trust & Safety they told me to file a claim, which I did. Three days after my purchase I received the new authentic item, exactly as advertised and immediately cancelled the claim. I couldn't even leave feedback for the poor guy. As far as I was concerned he was an honest seller and I didn't understand the TKO.

I've also noticed that several sellers suddenly become "no longer a registered user", yet they re-appear a week or so later.

I don't get it.

I've only had one other close call on ebay. Bought a $700 item, the seller didn't ship and refused to answer my emails for almost 2 weeks after payment. Filed a claim (he didn't even reply to that), got my money back from PayPal about 2 weeks later. The seller lost his PayPal privileges but still sells and has racked up a fair amount of negatives for the same reason. Where's the justice?

The ebay site is down right now. Wanted to show you a seller who has over 3,000 negatives this month alone, on about 100,000 total sales since he became a seller. He's still very active and has about 150 items for sale right now.
