Proof of everything is all around us. The market has a finite supply, in fact you should recall that it has shrunk by near 40% since March 2000. The effectiveness of program shorts applied against a shrinking complex of gross supply, has effects, which cant be known by those without experience.

The absence of volume is a key indicator of the inertia created by interests in opposition, if those that buy and hold see value as better further into the future, they wont sell. 80% of all supply is owned by investors, traders rent supply for the purpose of Arguing valuation, the inertia we are seeing in the markets is actually the complete and total awareness of those who actually know what they own, offset by traders, who opportunisticly Suggest that what investors own is valued correctly, or too high or too low. Creating a constant psychological tension in all the opposition. All this occurs against a market float which is a relative constant, and this is what is the missing information for most players.

In an economy that is restructuring, there will be winners and losers, but those winners and losers cant be known by charts, they can be guessed at by the combined body of knowledge summed and applied as certainty or the lack of it. Volume is the state through which evidence emerges.
