See what happened to Germany and Japan when they went marauding. In the end, they were stopped with bulk extermination with concentration camps for prisoners considered risks.

And we still have Germans and Japanese! There's even a Germany and Japan. Though Germany's border has changed. But it's changed a lot over a thousand years. It didn't affect that German, Albert Einstein either other than he left Germany.

Rehashing history with hypotheticals is pointless.

Then why did you start?

There is a good case that we have not done just fine.

Maybe we would have done better, maybe worse. There's no way to know alternate histories.

Backing Israel against invasion is a reasonable idea. Backing Taiwan against invasion likewise. Invading North Korea seems a doubtful idea. Same for Zimbabwe.

There's no value in saving the North Koreans because there's nothing in it for the US.

There's no value in saving the Zimbabweans because there's nothing in it for the US.

There's no value in saving the people of Darfur because there's nothing in it for the US.

Saving Taiwan is a good idea because the US gets something out of it, though it's diminishing. But returning Hong Kong to China's control wasn't the end of the world.

Back to Israel. If Israel didn't exist the Jews would go somewhere else before that happened. Most probably the US. They're already emigrating. If you want a Jewish state that flies the Star of David, the Jews from all over the world need to immigrate to Israel; in particular from the US because that's where the numbers are other than Israel. If they don't the Israeli Arabs are going to outnumber the Israeli Jews because of birth rate. Ask jla, Nadine, or Nikole when they plan to move to Israel with their families to "save" Israel?

You keep failing to answer the questions. I'm not sure if it's because you don't like the answers you have to come up with or because you equate the Israel to Jews. You seem to equate the destruction of Israel with the destruction of Jews. If all the Jews of the world actually immigrated to Israel and none of the Jews in Israel would be willing to emigrate you would have something to worry about. .... Odd isn't it? The dream of Israel, if fulfilled, might end in the destruction of Judaism.
