Re: why would he (or anyone) want to "toss a BILLION DOLLARS into getting his message out?" Who knows if he really does, or if it's all for show, designed to scare of potential competition and keep his name in the papers while he thinks about it? I sure don't know.... (Even for someone with as many billions as Bloomie that sounds a bit much... but $100 million or so [about what each of the top tier candidates are likely to have raised by the end of the year], THAT sounds very do-able for Bloomie. :-)
