The human brain can believe pretty much anything if it wants to as has been shown many times. It's a strange thing but people will often become more attached not less when their guru's statements are incomprehensible. All it takes for many is a little bluster and arrogance and they're sold. I suppose it's the wish for certainty.

I'm quite ready to believe from his personality that he was a scientist but not his career boasts given his misstatements on probability.

In any case this will be my last post on the subject.
