They've been having some very odd problems lately.

Wish it were true. I have to deal with them. I constantly have problems with them. Right now they are ignoring my emails. I'm pissed!

I understand that the main thing eBay tries to do is avoid any kind of dealing with their sellers. That's a no brainer.

That's not the problem.

I think management is the problem. They have a monopoly on a lot of items. That's why they are in their position. But they've blown a LOT of their business because they don't understand what side of the bread their butter is on.

Management is incompetent IMHO.

AMAZON has picked up a lot of slack. When I envision Bezos I think here is a guy really giving some thought as to how he can IMPROVE Amazon to draw in more money and customers (and sellers) and GROW.

Half/Ebay has lost a lot. When I envision Whitman I think she sits around thinking how they can SQUEEZE more out of their dwindling user base.

And when I buy this is reflected in my decisions. If it's on Amazon & eBay I'll choose Amazon 99% of the time EVEN if it's more. If it's on half or Amazon it's whatever is cheapest.

I'm not the only one. You can only squeeze for so long before you lose your customer base to a better product.

DETROIT vs JAPAN

Detroit was successful at the squeeze for some time but WHEN THE HAMMER FELL it fell for good.
