You have the duty to do work. None can avoid work, for breathing is work. The result of work belongs to God so none may lay claim to it. Therefore, duty, work, and its fruit, belong to God. What belongs to man? God, for God resides in man's heart. Karma yoga is a very difficult path. As soon as a man sets foot on it man sees his work as the result of his action, and the path is lost. In comparison, bhakti, devotion and surrender, is an easy path and is prescribed by Narada as the way for this age.
