My dad got the prostate cancer around 80 years old, the treatment with the radioactive pins took care of it.

He has skin cancer now but he is 84, the doctor says it would be a miracle if he died of it. Half of the right side of his nose is pretty much an open hole. But that's better than what the surgical doc wanted to do, which was take off his nose, his left eye, and part of his jaw.

We went surf fishing yesterday morning, caught 15 whiting and croakers.

At that age keeping it in check is worth more than trying to cure it.
