The cover of a short position is not 1% of the dwindled cash in that short position, but 1% cost on the stock price to close times the shares.

It seems to be 1% of 504.77 or 5.0477 times the actual shares short, which you show as .108. This would reduce the position by $.545. But you have the shares to more decimal places than 3, and can do this precisely.

GOOG hit ATH of 531.90 this morning.
