I've never hit jr. because there hasn't been a need. But if he needs a swat on the butt I'll be there to deliver it - not out of anger - out of an effort to teach him lessons. I've gotten mad at him for hiding from me in stores (because its a safety issue - if someone runs off with him I have to know and I have to be able to go do battle) and I've also gotten mad when he's run after the basketball in the street < again - its a safety thing. As far as offending someone? I do my level best to do that each day <g>
