I don't think we can generalize like that. Firstly, we don't always recognize the "good" in what the "other" side does, because everyone can't agree on what "good" is. And secondly, I feel sure that many right wingers donate to, or work in, soup kitchens, and help the homeless, and do all sorts of things most of us would consider a universal good.
While it is true that some people, on both sides, either wish people on the other side were hurt, or don't care if they are, it's not true of most people- on either side. I think most people do not want to see other people hurt, and the people who do want this, I have compassion for. I'm not sure what kind of a life you have when that sort of mindset consumes you. |
