It wasn't so much reaction to authority as the torturing that was of interest. We all know what people do in response to authority - watch any airport as queues of sheeple are herded and any individuals mercilessly crushed. You call me names, so I call you names. I think my racist label of you is better than your prejudiced label of me. So I win the argument. I should add bigoted to give a double-barreled label. Bigoted racist is an excellent label to use and a total discussion winner. But don't feel bad. Some of my best friends are bigoted racists and I think you should definitely be treated as human even so, [though not if you are female as they aren't properly human, lacking a Y chromosome].
