I truly think that most Americans are OK with the various groups of people who come to our shores. AS LONG AS they do assimilate, and DO NOT try to change what is uniquely American. Little things like obeying the law are important to most of us. Most of us have NO patience with those who willfully disobey the law, whether it is coming into the country illegally, or traffic offenders, child molesters, or murderers. Why have laws if we don't enforce them? I've said many many times, I have helped people coming here to become a citizen....but I have NO respect for anyone coming here for handouts, and who are just takers of our system.
