Unlike the kooks of the democrat party, those people don't dictate the majority of the party's platform. Have you seen any of the democrat presidential candidates platforms? They read like the dictionary fo the kook fringe of the democrat party. Have you seen the Republican candidates' positions? They are all over the place, and not at all in line with the kook fringe of the party.

All of that without discussing your kook idea that a boy which carries a purse is suddenly mainstream.
