Since I posted about emedicine I sort of kept surfing their site (completed a CME course, while at it -g). Run into an article where one of the writers is a Cardiologist whom I know personally. He is a nice and reputable guy; I use him as a consultant quite regularly. Didn't know that he was a contributor to emedicine... this increases my respect for the site.

My hospital has a subscription to UpToDate.com. That's an excellent site, but the subscriptions are very expensive. They have a good (free) section for patients, covering many subjects. Lots of very solid, practical stuff.
