It was indeed lovely, and in many ways not nearly long enough to see so many other places. However, it was plenty for both of us, we were really whooped by the time we got home. So many places in the East are filled with historical places and artifacts to go visit....We didn't do much of that on this trip though....

Boston is much the same as I remember when there before, just more traffic and nuttier drivers. The roads are narrow, many of the roads and freeways have huge potholes, and are like washboards, and the road signs don't show until JUST when you are by the place you are supposed to turn. I thought Seattle had a handle on that particular feature, but looks like Boston beats us in both amounts of traffic, but road signs with no advance notice as well!

The people we talked to were very nice and friendly. Most towns were pretty well maintained and clean. However there were some, that definitely needed soap and water, many UHauls to get junk out of the landscape and some paint. Marleborough MA is definitely one of these places, and was a real disappointment. The immigrants aren't taking care of the 1660 founded town at all....

Weather was all over the map, but mostly beautiful!
