The people we talked to were very nice and friendly. Most towns were pretty well maintained and clean. However there were some, that definitely needed soap and water, many UHauls to get junk out of the landscape and some paint. Marleborough MA is definitely one of these places, and was a real disappointment. We were on our way to a wedding last fall when my 9-year-old woke up as we drove through Colville. She remarked "this place sure is a dirty little village." We now refer to these places as "dirty little villages."
