Since 586 CPUs do have write back feature to save 20% of time instead of write thru feature in the old days. Its done by fragmentation of file in the FAT table.

So, ZFS just copies the fragmented file segment and maintains the checksum? I guess you can invent anything, if it improves the prior art?
