I didn't realize that Benoit's wife was "Woman" from the old WCW. She was a star in her own right. And, she used to be married to Kevin Sullivan, my old workout partner and mentor. However, when I knew Kevin (late 1970s) he was married to another woman who's name I don't remember. All I remember is that she was a babe and Nancy "Woman" was a babe, so, ugly old Kevin did o.k. for himself.

There was a great skit in WCW where the muscular, talented (former wrestling All American at U. of Michigan) and not-too-bright Rick Steiner fell for a fan. The fan was supposedly an innocent girl in pigtails with big glasses and carrying a teddy bear. They had a couple of dates, which were like a 6th grade social, and the cameras followed. Then, the girl they called Robin, showed up in leather with tall black boots, no glasses or pigtails and carrying a whip, calling herself Woman. She lured Rick to a secluded place where Kevin and his pals beat the crap out of him. It was a fun, silly skit. I lost track of her after I started my real jobs and didn't watch wrestling very much on tv.

It is sad that anyone is murdered, but putting a face on the corpse makes it feel sadder.
