I wish I could push the upper limits of my car (or even go the 120 you did in the 280SL) but unless I'm on a track (and one with long straights) its probably not going to happen.

I'd probably feel physically safe enough at 120 (assuming I picked the right place and time to do it), but the danger from cops would be too great.
