Why don't you get excited about the 2000-2050 car problem? That is the problem that I just made up, which is: All the cars operating today will no longer work by the year 2050! They will all have to be replaced at a cost of $trillions. That means that the total market cap of GM, Ford, Toyota, etc. should now add up to $trillions also. So they are all wildly undervalued. That makes as much sense as your post.

Now that's what I call imaginative thinking! However, speaking of driving a truck through logic...

Sid, keep in mind that NO Y2K companies existed until recently, making this "horse race" open to all contenders... even SCAMS.

What do you think would happen if there were NO established auto manufacturers and the market was estimated at trillions over the next few years??? Why, every two-bit auto garage that said it had the secret to building the world's most robust and cheapest car would be IPOing to multi-million dollar market caps!
