KT,

I saw the tap out fight the same as you. The rules aren't clear to me though. I saw a Matt Hughes fight where he was choked into unconsciousness and dropped the opponent who was then knocked out by the fall and they gave it to Matt Hughes.

The Jackson/Liddell result made perfect sense. I think that's a matchup issue. I'd be willing to bet that Liddell can beat a lot of guys that Jackson can't beat even though he can't beat Jackson.

Liddell usually wins with intimidation and KO power. Jackson can take a punch, throw back with KO power, and is not intimidated at all. He gets Chuck moving backwards and puts him into a very cautious mode. That's not the way Chuck wants to fight. I can't see him beating Rampage because I don't think he can hurt him with a single punch unless it's landed perfectly. That's tough to do when you are going backwards or side to side and he's chasing you around the ring. A good wrestler/submission guy can take Rampage down and beat him. That's tougher to do against Chuck, whose defense against that kind of thing looks great.
