Yah, after a night of carousing on Decatur Street he woke up on a tramp steamer halfway to Australia. At first he thought he had been shanghaied, but then he remembered joining the Merchant Marines, thinking it'd be a cheap way to travel. They docked briefly in the Philippines, where he took up with a retired go go dancer, but she hit the bricks when the gin ran out. He didn't make the call reporting back to ship, who knows where he is now....
