Well, I can totally understand why they think that California was stolen from them and that they think they should get it back. I don't think we should give it to them, though. On the other hand, if they ever make up a majority of the state and can vote to secede, that's their business.

I'm not afraid of these people. Most of them are like, say, my hotel housekeepers and are just trying to make a living. There may be a political side to it, and we should diffuse that, but I'm not condemning anyone for trying to make a living. Not to mention that I think that it's completely impractical to kick 12 million people out of this country.
