The House of Judah and the house of Israel!
>>>>I can understand that you want me to consider that Jew and Israel are not the same but why should this be of importance? If God says he will seal 144,000 from each of twelve tribes, He knows who they are. (confused) God bless, James>>>> God certainly does know who they are.! And some of them themselves, also know who they are.!
The prophets display much care in their address to the "House of Israel" and the "House of Judah". To apply to one "House" a prophecy which refers to the other is clearly to misapply the message and confuse the issue really bad. By failing to treat the House of Israel and the House of Judah and separate entities, the prophetic books of the Bible are set at variance with one another. Without this distinction the words of one prophet nullify the pronouncements of a fellow prophet. It makes Isaiah call into question the prophecies of Jeremiah, also causing Jeremiah to impugn the declarations of Hosea. It sets Joel against Amos, Zephaniah against Zechariah, and makes Ezekiel.
The prophecies in Revelation teach that.. "144,000 of all the tribes of the children Israel"..... Not 144,000 Jews, but only 12,000 Jews...those of the tribe of "Judah".
James if you would like to do a deeper and more in-depth study on this issue please let me suggest an articulately and most accurate writing of Biblical facts which will help the reader put all of this together. And is noteworthy in helping us "Rightly divide the word of God". James, Read it for yourself and make up your own mind.
