It's a curious dynamic that the free market gives conservatives 90%+ of the radio airwaves but the voting booth never gives them a lasting majority, and even less in 2006.

Starting to think there is something about the talk-politics format that appeals to the red meat base, which just doesn't interest moderates and liberals. As much as they don't hear liberal voices, they hardly listen to the Limbaughs et al.

Trying to force another solution on free market radio is foolish, I agree. Let everyone do what they like and see who they vote for in 2008.
