John, I wasn't going to make any more comments on this thread. After all, I only came over here to try and pry a few ostrich heads out of the sand. I was looking a the TLAB long term chart ( 9 years) this weekend. I have to say I was surprised to see that it has OUTperformed even Intel, Wow what a fabulous LT investment. BUT, the chart has turned more negative in the past month THAN AT any time Since 1990! The 50 DMA is diving through the 100 dma, the 200 day support is around $46 and thats where I think it's headed Short Term. I was reminded that this is a MOMENTUM investment; this is the greater fool theory of investing. Buying a high priced stock in the hopes of selling it to an even greater fool later on. It also means that at the first sign of trouble the vast majority of these well informed Momentum money managers will cut and run. Leaving the smaller players holding the empty bag. The chart clearly shows that some very Big money has come out of TLAB, who knows maybe they just got spooked and will return. The upgrades last week had little effect and OBV has continued to plummet. Like lemmings into the sea they blindly marched off the cliff, Hope you guys & gals get a good earnings report & +++ conf. call, TY
