Hillary is fading fast, which is bad news for the GOP. Because the lower she goes the more likely it is that Gore will step in, or that Edwards or Obama will rise to take her place. I have been saying for a long time that though Hillary is a very impressive woman, she should not be our nominee. These early polls have her on top mainly because she is the most famous, and because a good portion of the country really do like her.

Still, if Hillary were to get nominated, I believe she would beat anyone on the GOP, though it would be close. I believe Edwards or Obama would do a little better, and Gore would walk away with it in a landslide.

It is ironic the GOP spends so much time smearing Hillary. If I were them I'd be touting her, just the way you dishonestly touted Howard Dean in 2003. You people will do or say anything to win. But this time you won't be able to cheat in Ohio. Or Florida (very much). So you're toast. The last thing country wants is another GOP president, unless he's a real maverick who disagrees with Bush-Cheney, that is populist not a corporate elitist or a religious right nut.
