I've seen liberals denounce the barbaric treatment of women in the Muslims world. The first time I saw clitorectomies in the Muslim world mentioned on SI (not to imply they are exclusive to Muslims)- it was a liberal woman who mentioned it, on SI. I don't know what liberals you are talking about, and I'm sure you've found a few, but your problem is you think the few you've seen represent ALL liberals, and you also seem to think that not wanting to blow people up, means you approve of them. It makes it hard for you to evaluate the people you think are liberals.
