pep boys has a great web site, pepboys.com , it is worth a view. i just purchased pby on friday, so do not want to post any old news. i enjoyed reading their 2nd qurter results, pepboys.com , and believe they have a handle on where they want to go and are expanding well. they appear to be a leader in a new concept to maximize use of the supercenter: In order to maximize the opportunities that exist in the automotive aftermarket, the Company has decided to modify its expansion strategy. The 18,600 sq.ft. Supercenter, which features 12 service bays, offers tires and can be utilized in the parts delivery program and the pursuit of other commercial opportunities, will continue to be the Company's "flagship" format and will be utilized in both metropolitan and smaller markets.
